You guys! Krista & Kevin were the cutest couple! He's in to hip hop, and owns his own ice cream business, and she works with adults with disabilities. They are from the Big Apple and decided to do their engagement photos in SF! What a great idea to do your pictures on top of a nice long weekend vacation! They had the best ideas! We did 4 locations; Baker Beach, Palace of Fine Arts, Potrero Hill, and Sutro Baths for sunset! It was perfect!
We started the day off at Baker Beach. It was great - early Monday morning, not packed at all and the sun had no trouble staying in front he of the clouds!!
After that we did a quick outfit change and headed to Potrero Hill, but first BALLOONS! Krista had the cutest reference pictures, but I think our's turned out way better! We headed to a really cool costume/party shop in Noe Valley. The lady at the counter was everything! She helped us out with colors, ribbon, the whole shebang! We then headed up to the hills and went to 2 different outlooks. Again, the day couldn't have been better! The skies were blue and the views showed up for the photos!
We headed down to Union Square to find some stationary cable cars. And let me tell you these guys who work on the cars are pretty dang cool! They were helping us pose, let us have the cars to ourselves, and were all about it! I'm sure they have people all day taking pictures. They had the best attitudes!!
After a quick bite to eat Westfield, we did our last outfit change and headed to Palace of Fine Arts. The tough part was there were A LOT of people who had the same idea. A few wedding pictures, engagement pictures, and even a quinceanera!! The videographer played his guitar and they danced for a bit in the middle to get some 'in the moment' shots. It was pretty freakin romantic!
The final stop was Sutro Baths for sunset. And man oh man were we blown away. The skies were clear, and the sun did its thang! Krista's dress was the star and flowed perfectly in the light SF wind.
They were down to do anything for the shot! Even take their shoes off and get a little dirty on the beach! The pictures turned out amazing! They had the best ideas for locations and by the end of the day we felt like life long friends! Krista and Kevin I wish you the best of luck on your wedding day in New York.
